SAC SkyWatch 2023-2024 Schedule
2nd Fridays from Sep 2023 through April 2024. Exception - Spring Star Party on Saturday, 13-April-2024 !!! The early start times for star parties will allow for some solar observing. The Spring Star Party in April will have a 32% illuminated waxing crescent Moon. At most of the other 2nd Friday SkyWatches at KWU, the Moon will have set before nightfall.
Light Refreshments and socializing to follow after the SkyWatch presentations in Rm 229, Peters Science Hall, KWU. Also, on nights when we do NOT have an off-campus Star Party; attendees will have an opportunity to observe the night sky through the KWU Observatory telescope, weather-permitting.
